Default Has Anyone used ACL rod bearings in ls/b20 rods?

wat up everyone has anyone in here used ls/b20 acl bearings in eagle rods in a b20? most people are going with oem i know but i already have ACL's tried putting them in the other day but they seemed like i had to go one step down with those (but to my knowledge ACL's is one size fits all) right? lol well i know honda bearings are $$ can anyone tell me what they usually come out to as in total? and estimate would be great.. and if someone in here is running those ACL's bearings did they have any trouble with them and how long have you been running your motor for i wanna see the durability and lifetime on these please help!!

The motor I am currently building I am using ACL rod bearings with LS rods. I reconditioned the rods myself so my clearances were perfect.

right, have the big end machined.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ek2k &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">please do. i understand if you have ACL's well you have to plastiguage them correct?</TD></TR></TABLE>

you dont have to do anything

but you are correct, you need to check your clearances. plastigauge probably being the most barbaric way, but still pretty effective.

i think i paid $65 to have my rods sized.

i dont know much about the sizes of aftermarket rods. do they come with any specs on the large end? if not have them measured, and if need be resized.

Your Eagles should probably be dead on. Check the clearances then decide if they need it.

what is the part number on the box for ur bearings?? I use to work for ACL and know their product very well. And no there isnt 1 size fits all. They work great and never had a problem selling them to J.J from PFI and Sam from Import Sports
