ticket question?
Is driving on a suspended registration a moving violation in Maryland? I got pulled over today and my registration is suspended because I never went through emissions. The reason I didn't wasn't because I thought I would fail, it was because I didn't know I had to go. I moved recently and the tickets must have been going there instead of my new address. Someone please help, it's a 275 dollar ticket!!!!

call the DMV they should be able to answer any questions you have. also go through emissions and plea not guilty for the ticket. go to court and tell them what happend. if you can show that you went though and passed they may trash the ticket or reduce the fine.

they are dicks and will make you pay the ticket anyway. everyone would say they didn't know even if you truly didn't. I would suggest calling them first, but plan on paying...and go through emmissions so this doesn't happen again. That $275 could have gone to whatever you had to fix to be legal with emissions.
