ecu opinion's please
oh i had a 93 srv (h22) car had so many issues ... anyway i had just installed a jdm ecu programed by skunk 2 . made hell of a diff. in preformance ......
now i have a 95 se (h23) runs great .. should i trust another beefed up ecu?
or was my last ride just a peice?

Well - if you have the money - i say go for it...but you should do some mods to your car before you get an ECU - they work better that way....also, if you had good gains with a Skunk2 program - stick with skunk2....unless you have the cheese to do so
what type of mods are recomended with ecu upgrade?
so far i have only added a short ram intake & cat back exhaust.....
i would expect i need a header .. maybe fuel rail & presure regulator?

Be very careful about "ecu upgrades" and the programs people claim are on the eeproms. Honestly, you don't need an ECU upgrade ever, nor do you need a fuel rail and a regulator for a car with bolt-ons. The overall best gain to be had on H22's is lowering the VTEC engagement to ~4700 rpm, but on cars with H23's like yours there is no VTEC to worry about......
Take the $300 you'd spend on an ECU upgrade and the $250 you'd spend on a rail and regulator and buy a nitrous setup. Spray a wet 50 shot now and then, it'll make you a lot happier than the other stuff and make a much more noticable difference.....
If you REALLY want to tune the fuel/timing, find a reputable tuner and get a basic hondata setup ($300), a chipped P28 ($200), and tuning (~$500). Expect around a 10whp gain on a mostly stock car.......
