Default Does anyone use the sears 9in band saw to cut 304 tubing?

Well to make a long story short ...
I purchased a Delta bs100 band saw to make collectors and that thing wouldn't cut 16 gauge aluminum(with a loews metal blade 18 tpi). It has been over a month since i first purchased it and they would only give me store credit not a full refund so i can't purchase the harborfrieght 4x6 bandsaw.
There aren't many options at sears in terms of inexpensive band saws. I did find this one which is a 1/2 hp motor compared to the 1/3 of the delta

Has anyone used this to cut stainless and done so successfully? I do plan on getting a nice blade at enco if this one will do the job. if not i guess i'll just have to save up for a more expensive band saw at sears

can you gear it down so it's slower then use a good bimetal blade?

the delta was 59.5 inches. I saw the sears 10 inch saw which is 63.x inches but it was discontinued. I can order it online but it's 43 dollars to ship it.
