lights
now i'm really confused....wtf is the diff between xenon lights and blue lights? I hear blue lights are a ticket but don't bmws come w/ xenon? Some guy i know got xenons for 3bills on his 02 accord, and i cant even find anything more than 20bux on ebay for "xenon lights".......where can i find some real xenons for my 02 civic lx?
HID lighting requires adding ballasts and wiring, that why your firend paid 300, he probably went for a real HID kit.
you can get the hid "look" (not as bright) by using those xeon bulbs. but you might get more responses in the correct forum for your car over here:

if the car came equipped with HIDs then it is legal. is it illeagle to install HID xenon lights on normal cars. part of the reason is the housing on stock cars arent meant for the xenon HID bulbs, they are reflector housings and dont project the light properly. they also dont have proper cutoff, which is why most drivers get blinded by them.
the proper way of doing a retrofit would be to use a OEM HID kit out of a production vehicle. another way would be to use actual projector housings for your vehicle and a xenon HID kit. you may be able to get away with it. but HID bulbs in reflector housings dont light up very good.
