i just recently bought a 94 accord LX 5-speed and whenever the car is in neutral the revs constantly go to around 2K an then back down, and then back up to 2k, and so on and so on. the previous owner told me that if you unhooked the TPS and then re hooked t the problem would stop until you turned the car of and back on. i have a friend who has a prelude and an extra TPS and i know changing it wouldnt be that big of a deal, but is that my problem. i was also told it could be the MAP sensor. also, the speedometer and odometer dont work. sometimes the odometer will turn regularly and sometimes it wonr move, and sometimes the speedometer will jump to a speed but its still not the right speed, but nost of the time it stays at zero. could that just be the speed sensor? if so, how hard is it to change? thanks.
