A 94 del sol vtec weighs in at 2491 lbs without a driver and it has 160hp at the flywheel

An 88-91 civic/crx si weighs in at 2138 lbs without a driver and 108hp stock at the flywheel. With the i/e i would probably estimate at the most 115-120 at the flywheel.

The del sol will probably run high 15's and you will probably run low 16's. I would say that it will be a good race depending on the drivers abilties.

all the "if this car has this vs a car that has this" poo poo needs to stop, we all know it's gonna depend alot on the DoEs AnYoNe KnOw WheRe I CaN GeT SoMe StRObE LiTEZ AnD LiGhT uP WiNdShiElD NoZzLeS??ing driver, so maybe the "who would win" forum needs to stop and needs to actually happen in the streets or at the track

I saw a del sol VTEC at cecil county dragway run a 15.5 although I never got to see what was under the hood. The guy said it was stock. It didn't have an exhaust though. So who knows what he had. Just some food for thought.

he isnt talking about the del sol SI w/ a d16 sohc vtec 127hp...

he is talking about the del sol VTEC w/ a b16a dohc vtec 160hp!!!...

the SI model is slow as hell...but a stock VTEC model WILL run a 15sec 1/4mile...and thats stock

Vtec models cam out in 94...my girl has a 93 SI and yes its heavy and slow as a pig...if only her *** had money for a vtec model...

no way 15s a delsol si is a pig and its not gonna win if u can drive and if u condsider a 15.9 a crx will run it will win if u can drive
