people with 96 vtec's what is your engine code?
I was tryin to find out if i can get a h22a on my 96 prelude, and my friend said i need to get a h22a4 from a 97 +. But, at a site it says h22a are from 92 to 96. Other people who have the usdm 96 model odb2, what is your engine codes? I will need this car to pass smog test thats why iam asking.

H22A1 is the USDM 92-96 VTEC prelude motor code.
H22A4 is the USDM 97-91
H22A is the JDM H22 (IIRC 92-96)
The motor code is the same between OBD1 and OBD2 ludes.
