Alright this is just odd, reinstalled my motor and trany after some changes and repairs, now the darn thing has no spark. I tested the Coil, fine still good, tested the ignitor results where with in specs. But due to the Chilton book it says if the ignitor test come out within specs then to replace it. Not understanding this.

Might there be a ground wire or something that is missing? I do see an odd shaped metal tab that is not hooked up to anything would be hard to draw it but I could take a pick of it. I looked over the wire diagrams but dont see an odd tab like that with two black wires to it hooked up anywere next to the thermostat area at all. Not even connected to the top rear of the trany.

It does have an aftermarket clear diz cap, but that seems to still be like new. No burn marks or anything. And the diz was working when it was removed and placed aside for safety durring repair work. And it was not dropped.

This is on a 91 Accord EX F22 5spd 2dr

 

need to see what this odd shaped metal peice looks like.....it could be just a clip!!!!!

 

its a small tab with a square hole in the mid, its about 2/3rd inch in dia hight and 1/4 inch in width total with two black wires leading to it it also has a very small tab on top as like a stop tab or slot tab, but can not for the life of me figure out where this goes. I have looked all over and can not seem to find where this thing would mount.
