LIsten to this ****. I have an 89 crx si. I got a b16a from my buddys old car worked fine, i put the motor in my car it runs, but no v-tec, then my turn signals stop working(relay most likely),and then on my exhaust where the hangers are directly in the middle of the car, get ripped off and now i have a hole in my tonami exhaust (don't know how to spell it), ok and then my cd player shuts off and smoke comes from under the dash. It just hasent stopped since i put the b16a in. Also in the morning when i go to start my car it takes a long time to start but it is fine after it warms up and for the rest of the day.wtf

 

is it throwing any codes? Look the up... Check your wiring and your fuses...

 

must be the wiring, but who knows...

 

yea 2 codes and my radio and clock fuse keeps blowing i think that the fuse

 

i had something similar happen with the radio, so did my friend. bad ground, most likely. check your battery terminals, too. and sand off the ground by the thermostat housing.
