Anyone know what kind of alarm system a stock 2000 honda civic ex coupe has? just curious

To my knowledge, stock Civic alarms are basically a panic button, and blow the horn when someone opens the door. I don't think they have trunk or hood trigger. Definitely don't have shock sensor. Not sure about starter kill, either...

Definitely not worth it IMO... Get a real alarm.

i see, so whats the difference between taht and a viper? is it dramatic enough for me to replace it for a viper
