ok i got a 88 hatch and got seats from a ~88-91 civic four door... the bracket hols do not line up .... the new seats had shoulder belts......the electric ones..... mine didnt ... let me know what you think if it will fit or not... please help really need to know.....

Have you tried to switch the rails from your 88 hatch seats on to the civic 4 door seats? Thats what you have to do on the integra seats to make them work

 

88-89 cars have dif seat rails than 90-91 cars.. also CRX seat rails are different than hatch seat rails.. as are the seat pans... hope that helps some

 

so possibly swithing the rails might work ??? has anyone done this yet ???

Switch the lower seat pans that the rails bolt to. That might work. I don't know for sure, I am not familiar with Civic hatch and sedan seats.

I got seats from a 91 4 door and swapped the pans and stuff out. It was a total bitch, but it worked.</TD></TR></TABLE> Why would you want four door seats? They don't hold worth a biznicks around corners and I'm fast on the track of replacing mine.
