how many degrees of total timing do you have @ 10psi?
16deg base timing, how much do you advance max in the upper rpm's @ 10psi?
I'm trying to get an idea if my timing maps are too conservative..... just a ballpark for the next tuning session on the dyno.....

just dont pull to much timing out cause then you will start melting stuff.............. no good! and if you dont have a good understand of what timing acutally is then i would do some research. that will tell you a lot
about 15* total on a D16. I dont see what the psi has to do with it though. What if I have a t25 and the next guy has a sc61? Also bore diameter will play a big role in how much timing is appropriate.
im going to say somewhere roughly between 20 and 22ish degrees total. that comes out to be around 6-8 degrees taken out, which divided by 10 psi is like about .7 degrees/lb, which is acceptable i think.
my z6 map had me running 20* at 10.41 psi @redline on uberdata(just a hair over 8* taken out)

exactly. It doesn't matter what Joe's timing was @ X psi if the setups are different. You tune an engine according to MBT, not psi. Timing can vary.
