True that. I cannot wait for this event. The old layout called for the entire track to be repaved. This new layout only needs a little work. The biggest problem was that the HP pavilion wanted a rental fee for the spot as well as SPACE. The old layout there just wasn't enough room. THe USTCC cars would of had to pit off the site and drive our cars to the track.

That race would be an insanely fun one to run then in a USTCC car...

might have to prep another motor so i could run it.

thanks guys for the quick response!

No offense meant (I guess) but the track layout looks like it really sucks. Nothing but tight chicanes, 180 hairpins, and ninety degree turns. That can't be a whole lot of fun to drive. Point and squirt.

Barry H. </TD></TR></TABLE>Sounds like a street circuit to me (in a planned city, at least). Now, Monaco, there's a city that followed cows and streams to build its streets along.

Isn't Almaden bumpy in that area? Maybe I need to try that course first!

Here is a street course we will be running with the Quebec Touring car series. It's in Trois-Rivieres, about 100 miles East of Montreal. I look forward to it as it will be my first time on a street circuit. I'm also curious to see what kind of times I do in comparison with Grand-Am Cup cars.
