which year header do i buy for a mini me?

Default which year header do i buy for a mini me?

i have a a6/z6 mini me...in a 91 crx si..do i buy a header for 92-95 civic or 88-91 crx?
i want to get a 4-1 headers but it seems like its a super tight fit...

any suggestions?

good question, but i think you should buy the one for your year car so the fittement is right on the chassis. unless the 92-95 were the same, there may be some issues with bolting up with the stock exhaust.

Get the header that goes with the head you put on the old motor. If you swapped a Z6 head onto it, then get a header that was meant for teh Z6

its werid now though....when i did the swap...it pushed my header up about one inch? but i figured i would go with the head..i was looking at some 4-1 dcs but man it looks like such a tight fit....

i think the ports on the head are shaped differently between the engine models , so you might want the z6 one

oh, well theres somehtign i didnt know, i would have gotten headers for the year of the car.

so the ports of say a z6 head will be differnt then a y8 head??

im not certain about the exhaust ports, but i know the intake ports are different, so im assuming the exhaust ports have some minor differences as well.

i had the d15b jdm 4-2-1 header and tried to put it on my z6 and it was too long to match up with my cat. i'm sure it could be done but i think you'd need to shorten the b section of the exaust? i may be wrong though.
