Default Oil on spark plugs???

I have an 88 si, I just redid the headgasket and some other tune ups to it. But now it's been a month and I started smoking when the car warms up. so I did an oil change and started to pull the plugs ans they were covered in oil some more than the others but one barely had anthing on it. Does anybody have any ideas??????

on the underside of your valve cover there are 4 o-rings that are placed where the bore for your spark plugs are. replace them o-rings. the oil is getting past them o-rings and droping down there its no worries. 5 min. job tops .

Oil being on top of the plugs in the plug holes could just cause missfiring from getting on the wires, sounds like the oil is going into the combustion chamber if the car smokes...
