Default A day at HOOKUPS...

Went in today to tune my car which has been running horrible for a little while now because of some changes ive made and things ive neglected. My car is being horribly choked by my exhasut and header along with the fact that we beleave the cat is clogged from running rich for so long etc... Here's some pics and a video of one of the runs. The numbers basically terrible because of the mentioned problems but nothing that cant be fixed with a little $$$... Chris did an great job pulling some power out the mid range in a stingeeeee motor . Changing the header, cat, exhaust and ecu shortly then will be back to tune.

The engine is a basically stock CTR setup.
P2T OBD-II ECU did'nt let us take it passed 8200

145 HP / 100 TQ

Got it to work here now! It does sound like it wants to rev quite a bit higher...

Yep. It will make power to 9k. The ECU just wont let it. Hopefully now that I know where my problem spots are, I can pin point them and eliminate the bottle necks. This motor has alot of power left in it.

id worry about making power through the power band instead of worrying what rpm you can shift at imo.

true but a ctr setup is geared towards making power up there...it's a shame if you can't even rev that high.

The power band is ultra smooth and it makes great power in the mid range. Like EVOL said though, I would still be making great power passed 8200.

PM Chris "HOOKUPS" is his user name. He can give you a more direct price. I would expect it to be no less then $100+ per hour. Usually a simple tune (Fuel, Cams, Timing) should take no more then 1 hour. Chris had my car tuned in farely quick. You can call and make an appointment, he can usually sqeeze people in. The numbers in my signature, tell him Aaron sent you
