Default F22a1 block, H23 head??

so if the F22b is an f22a1 block with a h23 head like stated in the thread below, id beable to remove my SOHC head and use the H23 with out a problem?

it's NOT that simple.

here's an example of an f22b2 block + h22a1 head:

Now I understand that you're talking about f22a1 block + h23 head. But I'm showing you existing threads that show how complicated things can get. There's issues of clearance, oil passages, change in compression, etc.

Read through those threads so you'll get an idea of what kind of power gains you'll get, problems that occured later on, and whatnot. And you'll need some form of EMS to run the whole thing (i.e. you won't be able to run any stock ECUs)
