Where can i get an Ignition Starter for a 94 Civic LX. i already went to the dealership yesterday. they said they have to take the whole steering wheel column out and get new keys and stuff. and that will cost like 300 they said all together. So do anyone know where i can get one without having to do all that? I already have the junkyard in mind. any info counts and is appreciated.

 

I would buy a used ignition unit with the key from a junkyard. You'll have different keys to open your doors, and start the car, but that beats paying $300 from the dealer.

What happened, did someone steal/attempt to steal your car?

 

if you buy a used ignition with a key, and you know what you are doing, you can re-key your locks to the key in the ignition, or you can take your lock cylinders from your doors and trunk to a dealership or locksmith and they can re-key it for you. That way you wont need two sets of keys.

 

yeah, someone broke into the car 2 days ago. but i came out with a bat and my dog bitches ran away with my glove box, airbags and ignition cylinder. they are dumb tho, tried to hot wire my car, but i had wheel locks. -=D


How would i be able to re-lock the keys and stuff? would you know or have any info for me?
