first off.. the video quality is horrible..

Secondly, when you get 20 cars that car very closely matched together things will happen. I know in nor-cal this is unusual to have that many incidents, and from what I understand that is the same for so-cal too

Whoever made that video is one of those guys who stands there and bores you with a 30 minute story that could have been told in 30 seconds....

 

i think edik in his H4 car passed that guy, at he passed the blue and black one.

WACK video. Really negative portrayal of HC- and, it was a CRAZY sunday race (the craziest Ive seen so far).

Atleast there was a decent* angle of the T1 Higashi/Bernardo contact for all to see.

 

Seems like just the typical cocky BMW driver who has something to prove. The best thing to do to people like that is to pass them in a Honduh.

Is the camera car driver the same guy who wet his pants when he got passed by the Super-D, and whose crew chief called Bernardo out for a fight (for frightening his driver) after the race?

You guys are FUNNY! If you call that racing, I would suggest you all attend a pro race - less carnage. See guys, the object of the race is to finish in first. But notice, you must FIRST FINISH.

As for us BMW's starting behind you all - NEVER HAPPEN. And if it did, I would just have to come through and pass you all.

We (BMW Racers) are not all bad, just as I am sure you Honda racers are not all bad. But, honestly, can you look at the results of the race and be PROUD of your driving as a group? If you can, then you are right, we shouldn't be racing together. I can accept that. But anytime one of you Honda Challenge guys wants to come out and race me, let me know the time and the place - I will be there. You better hit me hard on the out lap though, because when the green flies, you won't see me again till I come around to lap you.

if your name is Marc Ghafouri, Lagoni/ Otoupalik, or Michael Allen then you don't have much room to talk. as 3 people in hondas were faster then these drivers on saturday.


and i do watch, attend pro races If i recall, in st petersburg LF speed WC GT race there was at least 7 yellows droped because of contact.

Still for Honda challange this weekend was an exeption. Unlike you I KNOW a majority of the racers, and the ARE NOT rubin is racing people.

 

Nope - my name is not Ghafouri, Lagoni/Otoupalik or Allen . But you are getting close - try looking higher in the finishing order.

I am glad to hear that the majority of the HC racers are not rubbin is racin people. But look at the above posts and see the attitude exhibited. I know this is the first time I have raced with your group - and I was not impressed.

I also hope you are not trying to compare a concrete canyon street circuit (St. Petersburg) with our wide open and WIDE tarmac Buttonwillow. Not a great comparison.

Oh, and do any of your HC guys turn a 1:58.6 at BW in Configuration 13 CW? If they don't then YOU don't have much to talk about.

 

the attitude exhibited is that these were racing insidents, did you even see ANY of the contact first hand? From the video i couldn't see any, so how do you can you even speak to what happened?


I have seen a few video clips and only 1 or 2 were acutally cause by rubin and racing, the other were simply pushing the car beyond its limits.

 

Just wondering, but much hp are you putting out?

 

Boy, I hope these were racing insidents (or incidents). Because I would hate to think these drivers all fell short on the talent scale.

Again, not impressed - but the cool thing is you all don't have to impress me. You can go play demolition derby whenever and wherever you want and just pretend it's racing.

Seriously, I hope this was an isolated race - wouldn't it get pretty expensive otherwise?


And to answer the other question - I make about 250 hp at the rear wheels.

just wondering... how did you come up with 8 ?

I personaly know of 1 were a SER-cup car hit a honda.. no fault of the honda, just bad judgement of the ser driver.

 

Is this your personal best or average time?

The problem is that the video's producer seems to take a condescending view of Honda racers. Can you blame them for taking offense?

Lap times don't mean **** anyway. A driver turning 2:04 in a car capable of 2:04 is more impressive than driver turning 1:58 in a car capable of turning 1:53. Not that yours is, but absolute lap times are meaningless when comparing different cars in different classes or racing divisions.
