That is the hardest area for a body shop to fix so that price sounds about right... I think your best bet is to let them straighten it out and paint it. For them to cut and weld a new quarter panel piece, it will probably cost you even more. Good luck...
i cant really see how much damage there is by the picture but if it is not that bad push it out a little and bondo it up and then paint it...if you can get any bette pics i might be able to hewlp you out more with how to do it
WHAT i got a quote from a shop to replace the quarter panel was $1500 and that was with the new qurter panel and installation on my car was alot worse from what i can tell and i didnt even know the shop but anyways i didnt do it i waited a while and asked my friends if they knew people that did body work and i my boi knew a guy that fixed for 200$

You got a good quote. In order to replace a 1/4 panel they have to cut the old one out, fix any of the framing underneath, weld on a new panel, smooth the welds, bondo til perfect, then paint. The process is tedious and long, the materials might be somewhat cheap but labor is outrageous.
What I'm saying is that your damage isnt that bad, if 1300 is alot then dont even think about putting on a new 1/4 panel. Unless you can get a great deal its just not worth it.

I posted my advice, I've been through the process of replacing a quarter panel, its a PITA. Do not pm me talking ****. Take some english/grammar classes. If your not considering a new panel then what is this thread about?

Yes it is fixable but no need for a new panel, it will cost way more then the estimate you have.
have the bumper. bondo or anything?
If you have the bumper thats great. yes, after they pull out the dent they will apply bondo to smooth everything out.

Sounds about right. Shop around, it might be cheaper elsewhere. Go to the place your insurance recommmends. Remember you get what you pay for....
but if theres any shop that can fix this let me know
I'm not from your area, I can not reccomend some where to go.
THANKS
Youre welcome, but please stop pm'ing me.
