this will be your first and last mistake before you learn the hard way....UNLESS, you research what the hell you are doing and find yourself a good tuner.

Never heard of a boosted R before...
[sarcasm]

I have heard up to 550 whp, but it was not stock by any means.
Slapping a turbo on without a proper ECU setup spells disaster.

Have fun going th FI route.

Haleiwa-Brando makes 0whp on his ITR w/ Full-Race stg.3 kit.

Try the FI forum.

well 5l you can always boost a stock jdm motor but you will have to keep the boost low like 7psi and buy a engine manegement unit plus you will need to spend alot of time on the dyno to tune it so its reliabe

i have boosted a stock usd itr to 300+whp but its playing with fire because they are extremely piky wiht boost iam curently doing my scond rebuild on this engine because my ring let go again i was runing around mid 400whp on a built engine

with my next setup iam shooting for high 500 low 600 on race gas i should have some pic soon as soon as its up a runing

I wouldn't recommend it. I own a turbo R and i'd rather have it stock right now. It's cheaper, better overall stock IMHO i'd rather have my turbo R stock right about now. I make 300whp without a final tune yet. Hope to make 350-400whp when it's all said and done (in about a week)

I make 0 WHP too. JE Pistons, Eagle rods, GT2871R turbo.

On a STOCK motor, keep it under 300 WHP! Tune with Hondata/Uberdata/Neptune/etc. Don't bother with hacks, GReddy E-Manage or Blue Box, etc.

p.s. I have a E Manage and blue box for sale

Just to reinforce what the others before me have said, GOOD tuning is going to be the difference between you having happy posts on this forum about how nice your boosted R is, and you being in a perpetual state of pisstivity.
