okay there two plugs on the fire wall map sensor..i current using the bigger plug for the tb mount map. what do i do with the smaller plug..thanks..

i did..nothing came up..all i found was to use the big plug for the map but nothing else for the little two wire plug..

Just want to bump this, I did not find anything in the search. I got a y8 tb that i want to use at some point.

 

just leave the other plug alone which is what i did and it didnt seem to bother my y8

sorrie camera got busted..its the little two wire plug that plugs into the firewall mapsesor..can i just leave it unplug like that.

 

swap with a newer manifold?

Are you running obd1 or 0?

 

the 2 wire plug is for the evap canister purge solenoid. it wont throw any codes if unplugged.. its just used for smog purposes and to relieve some pressure in the fuel system. it would make it easier if you told us what manifold you are using.
