ran into a BIG problem while installing STR cam gears on my 98 lude..
my mechanic has the car apart, and he called me and said that the keyways are part of the stock cam gears,
STR did not come with keyways so what am i supposed to do???

I would tell him he is a iddiot, just call him back and tell him to take the keyways off the stock cam gears and use them on the str cam gears. I would be concerned with him working on my car if he didnt know how to take the keyways of the stock gears.

Yes, that is the way my stock gears on my h22a4 head were. Just go and buy 2 keys from Honda (most years and models will be the same) and install the new cam sprockets. Problem solved.
