i have an ek h22 and i hooked up a vtec light the other day. up until last night vtec would not engage if the car was parked and the motor was reving. last night i was parked and i reved the engine and my vtec light came on!!! is this normal?? should vtec engage eventhough the car is not moving??

vtec shouldn't engage because it runs with the vss speed sensor
