Default 91 civic dx b16a OBD1 conversion auto to manual conversion *Won't Start*

Hello,

The wiring has been checked multiple times. All injectors are working. Verified spark at the plugs. No check engine lights. This is the 2nd one I have done. Compression is 120 across on a cold motor. Any ideas?

If its cranking and not starting, make sure you have all your grounds hooked up, esp. the tranny ground.

If it's not cranking make sure you have the wires for "Park" spliced together to trick the car.

Sorry, more detail. Its cranking over and over. Its getting spark and fuel. I have even tried starting fluid. The wires are spliced together for the auto conversion. The 2 thick wires and the 2 small so it thinks its in park. All grounds are on. No check engine lights. I did it just the same as the other car in the driveway, which runs fine with the exact same thing. I am wondering if possibly something inside the distirbutor is off not allowing it to get in time? Any other ideas?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tdocrx &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ok, check the two white wires at the dizzy. try swapping them</TD></TR></TABLE>

Would it not through a check engine light if these 2 wires were swapped?

i think if the dizzy wires are backwards, the timing is 180* off. if you switch them, you switch the polarity, setting the timing to the correct amount. maybe someone can verify this for me??
