Default Light white smoke at idle and ALOT when reved.. D15B7

ok I have my theories but I just wanted to throw it out and get some feedback. at idle I have a slight white smoke from teh exhaust and if I rev up my motor,D15B7 93 Civic DX Sedan, I get a real bad white smoke. ***ALSO ALOT OF BLACK SOOT on my exhaust and rear bumper***
Would it end up being the rings or head related....Block has over 200K and head has only 95K. Post up info and thanks for looking...
Also could hit me up on AIM whitesedan93

i had the same problem a month ago, last week i solved.

it was the headgasket

cilinder 2 leaked coolant in the cilinder. is your engine running a bit poor? try pulling plugs and see if your car runs differently, be sure to do this on a warmed up engine (at the point where the coolant is flowing). in my block there was a piece chipped out of the outside #2 sleeve, solved it with some liqiud gasket and a new headgasket. runs fine and dandy

edit: this engine is temp until i have money for my b-series transplant

I would have to say it's not the Headgasket..I have been down that road before and know the symtoms of that. I'm not dropping any cylinders or anything like you would w/ a HG and the actual car will still pull good if I get on it where as when I had a bad HG it ran like complete ***..
thanks for the info though...Anyone else w/ info would be greatly appreciated...

I was just about to post that.

Anyway, I would definately do a leakdown test. Sounds like a bad HG.
