Damn Im speechless I have the same car as you, the same color and wow we have the same name. But anyway What I think is best just research on your own because you will get alot of mixed opinions figure out how much you wanna spend and how much power you plan on putting to the ground and take it from there.
Good luck Eric Ha Ha Ha Ha HA !

It's a beginners guide to setting up turbo kits. Every piece of a turbo kit is a choice, how much you want to spend vs. your goals. I've seen people set up working turbo kits for $400, and then I'm sure there's been 4 million dollar kits (sarcasm) It just depends on your goals.
In my opinion, the things you should spend the most on is making sure your motor is running perfectly now, and engine management for the turbo kit. Good luck.

hey I have a 2000 si (same car). I went from greedy kit to drag kit and still wasn't happy. At the end, I bought a different manifold, turbo and downpipe. Now iam happy with the setup. Another words, if I had to do it all over agian I would piece together my own kit. Also u learn alot by looking at whats out there. This place will give u more information on every question u have. Just use the search button. Hell i am learning something new everytime i am here.

He can do better for less if he puts his own kit together. A lot less. I vote to let the no0b figure it our for himself. If he doesn't he won't learn anything and he'll just be another asshat with a poorly tuned turbo Si that doesn't know the specs on his own setup. Research!

i would say piece one together. and if you want i have a built b16a motor that im trying to sell with wiseco pistons, eagle rods, and king bearings @ a 9.1:1 compression ratio. 800 bucks. all you would have to do is take a couple sensors off your block and put it on this one (knock, and crank speend fluctiation sensor) and your good to go.
may i suggest looking into a neukin manifold. they are top quality and come with a lifetime warranty. 650 is not a bad price, seeing that full-race charges 1200 for the similar design....check the link in my sig for more info

I just bought a revhard kit that comes with all TiAL stuff, but added on hondata injectors ect... get a kit for the first time doing this so that you have all the little bolts you need which really isnt much. I ended up buying all brand new fittings and lines anyway.
Read this link before you jump into anything. It has a lot of useful information about turbo charging any Honda. I used the information here to decide what to do when I turbocharged mt ITR.

my advise is to buy a small kit or put some low compression pistons in first or you engine might not last very long. i've seen a fair amount of blown si's with drag gen II kits. just my 2 cents

I think that's probably more of an issue with the shitty "engine management" that comes with the kits.

the only reason the motor doesnt last long is because the drag kits use an fmu and are not TUNED. TUNING IS ESSENTIAL for your motor to last. you dont need lower compression pistons in order to make your motor last. tuning is what you need. you can run a good amount of power on STOCK internals. 300 hp is around the limit for the stock internals. once you get more power than that you would want to think about upgrading the sleeves, rods, pistons and such.

tons of useful info here now i need to start putting it to use and do something
thanks to everyone and keep the good info coming

FULL-RACE "stage 1" works really good on a b16a2, we put this kit on my buddys car and it pulls way harder then my car did with a similar turbo set up, so I would assume it will put down 280 with even a shitty fmu set up.
