Ok, I have a newly installed B16a1 in my 1991 STD. its running perfectly but it cant go anywhere… I took it for a test drive and it took me 10 minutes to find reverse to get it out of the driveway. I managed to find 1st(at least I think) relativly fast. I put it in, the car moved, i hit the shifter slightly and it was completly knocked out of gear. Its an Avid Racing shift linkage with a DC Sports short Shifter. I think its just the bushing that needs to go into the shift linkage but Im not sure. can someome please help me!!!!
i have the same problem.....Right where the Torque rod and shifting rod meet at the tranny....look at those bushings...those are what control the stiffness and liberal movement on your shifter.....i have yet to figure mine out to make it work again.....

tried that, didnt do anything, I think it's what Burly Irish dude said, its on the transmission where the two rods meet. To be honest, there is know bearing there, cuz my shift rod didnt come with one. And the stock one doesnt fit!!!! Is there anyplace that i could buy one???? Ive been calling Avid Racing and I havent been able to get through to them!!!

Thats my problem I think, its just way to loose so it's just not shifting properly, im just looking for a bushing that will fit my linkage
