jdm crx sir tail lights

can anyone show me a picture to compare the differences from usdm tail lights and jdm tail lights. i believe there we're some jdm tails that didnt have the vtec sticker on it since they didnt have vtec back then. i also noticed that jdm tails look pretty similar to usdm ones. already did a search but couldnt find a good picture to compare both tails. thanks

uhhh... they did have vtec back then. That's where lik 90% of the Cable OBD0 B16a swaps came from.

And the difference is, you see on the usdm tails on the side of the amber blinker, there is the red? Jdm don't have it, the amber wraps all the way around.

thanks bro, thats what i thought . just wanted to make sure i didnt get ripped off when i bought a set for a real good price practically a steal.

It sais VTEC in the middle...but that's just a sticker.
Non vtec models only have a diff sticker.

EF7 - tails say CR-X

You know its funny. I've noticed that most JDM tail light read "CR-X" and others like the ones pictured earlier in this thread say "CRX" like the ones we have here, thats kinda stange.

I have some jdm seats in my crx badged with the CR-X......i always thought the - (dash) was a good way to tell the difference between real and fake jdm parts for certain crx parts.

Also the corners are all amber instead of amber/red(thats the mjor difference)

the center pieces vary as stated, but the biggest difference is the amber wrap around lights vs red, and also a side marker light

USDM Tails:

notice the red that goes to the side.

JDM tails (i still use my USDM Center garnish)

that's the biggest difference for me. all of my badging is still US, so it still says CRX not CR-X. i know that some of the other garnishes the CRX/CR-X is "embossed" into the plastic and not a sticker like the USDM cener (of the VTEC on the JDM ones)
