Default Gauge cluster conversion

I have an 89 honda crx. and i just bought some electroluminescent white gauges for my cluster. but now that i have them they are for a 90-91 crx gauge cluster. i want to buy a 90-91 gauge cluster but how well do they fit and is it a plug and play set-up?

buddy did this. it sux. i think he had a problem with one plug. also the plastic peice that goes on the top of the 90-91 cluster is round, you will have to get that too.

it's not that hard but it's not plug and play. there are some links on how to do it in the FAQ. the clusters are different from 88-89 and 90-91.

no i'm not saying that. i'm saying they are different. i'd have to go compare the two clusters i have and see. they may fit? externally though they are different.
