Default code 16 help!

My car has a cel light and a code 16. I changed the fuel injectors and my car would still sputter and almost die when you give it gas. I have two sets of injector hf and si and they both do the same thing. When I take the fuel rail off it spills fuel ever were.

code 16 is a faulty ecu. the car shouldn't run. what you're describing sounds like the ignitor on the dist. going out.

I was running my si and then I tried my hf and had the same results, but I still have the cel from the time I try and start the car.

i had the same problem with my car and it used to dual point and someone before me converted it to multipoint and the wire coming from the resistor box that was connected to the main relay was clipped in there and shorted out so i would start with the wiring of the resistor box and move on from there good luck to you pm me if you have any questions.
