Another intake Question

I have a short ram intake. What are the pro's and con's of putting my filter right on the throttle body. Why have the pipe, i'm still sucking up hot air both ways.

The pipe helps smooth out the airflow. You could do it, but it would be useless, and you'd probably lose HP.

i wouldnt do it...you probably would lose power.

Why not goto home depot and make an extension for yourself, really easy. If not, then put your stock piping and box back on...
