Default Speed cut?

I searched, but only found one post and it was for an RSX. I have a 1995 Honda Civic DX. My car seems to have a fuel cut at 120mph. The car still usually has about 1000-2000rpms to go but the car just cuts fuel for a second, I was wondering if there is any way to bypass this or any electronic devices made for my car that can bypas this?

You can have it chipped and that will take the governor off. I think 95 is obd1 correct? from what I have been told obd2 cant be chipped or cant be chipped easily? Im not really sure on obd2. But if you search in the archived content you will find more on this or even a person who does it. I think the guy around me gets 90? But search the old posts and you will find out more.

the apexi rsm will allow you to cut your governor.

BUT i had a gutted dx hatch and the fastest i ever did was 125 downhill. this was with intake and exhuast

but to answer your question, either a chipped ecu, which won't be too cheap or an rsm will cut your governor

So a RSM will tell you your true speed/rpms? Or does it just read what the car tells you? Because I know that a lot of cars have innacurate speedos. Oh, and i've hit 120 in my car, many times, also with a gutted dx hatch, no mods, my si tranny will be in tonight.
