[parallel] if the amp doesn't have "speaker inputs" you can get a LOC converter, it takes a speaker input and has a RCA output, a good one will also have level controls on it for better matchup to the amp. 94

Either get a line level converter to convert the speaker lines to rca's or get an amp that has line level inputs. I have this setup in my truck as it isn't my daily driver and I didn't want to loose the steering wheel controls or buy a adapter and other than crappy bass well basically no bass the mids and highs sounded very good better than most stock stereo's I have heard. The guy had already wired it for an amp before and had a coverter which is what I'm using but my amp also has line level inputs I just don't use them.

This is what I did with my 95 Integra. It made a big difference when I installed the amp, sub and all new speakers. I eventually ended up changing out the HU with an Alpine. Bigger difference.
