with the timing advanced and no power steering , and header. best run was 170.2 with a little more fuel .
it was a hell of alot of fuel though. . . . . .do you think that vafc will help me that much ?
the up side is that the tourque went up / / / / /
on the 85 shot i put down 181 ft lbs

why didnt i gain any hp from jdm 4-1 and no power steering and timing advance. . . . .?
is it fuell tuning? too much /not enough timing advance.

the car is track proven to be worthy, , ,but on the dyno doesnt do what it should be .

Otherwise did you reset the ECU after the mods? Do you have a CEL light?

Did you do the dyno runs with the same rims/tires, tire pressure and ambient temperature conditions? Are both the readings SAE?

I wouldn't advance your timing if you're using NOS either. KABOOM!

only 181 torque to the wheels with juice?????

Shame a SOHC can do 200 whp with a 75 shot at 3200 rpm

1st off then thats one bad asssss single cam .
anyway the timing was put to stock on the nos run
i talked to the guys from superstreet yesterday and was forwarded to one of jo jo callos's old chief mechanics
anyway . he said to go back to stock with the timing and fuel and just go up in little incraments from there.
im getting the vafc and some cam gears to tune it more. .. he said i should have no prob getting almost 190 hp na
so that s what im shooting for right now.
i pretty much garuntee i have fuel tuning issues.

also im not beliveing that 200 hp on a single cam on 75 shot . . . i have a 60 shot and put down 40hp more to the wheels . . . . your statement seems a little high dont you think, deffinately since to the wheels stock , you were pushing maybe 80hp?
anyway , im not overly conernced because my car is track proven and i already put out 230 hp with the juice only on for about 2 sec already. . . so i can get the power from it.

Well, do the math.
13.55 @ 100 mph into a 7-8 mph headwind in a 2400 lb car with driver on slicks.

Local ITR with 50 shot on 22x8x15's went 12.7 at 106 2 years ago. He traded it in for a S2000.

I know I'm making 140 crank HP before the spray. Add a 75 shot (about 60 hp really) and you get 200 hp.

Really simple.

AEM intake, Stillen header, Z6 intake manifold, and CRX Si cam installed in the 1/2 tooth retarded posistion, this was the 135 hp 1.5L NON VTEC SOHC motor.

That and about 350+ 1/4 passes to test each mod. When I went to dyno I was in PERFECT tune. Anything I did lost HP.

Can you tune?
Or can you throw parts at a car?

you should be putting down more torque that than. I put down 188 ft lb on the 50 shot, 193 ft lb on the 70 shot.

im also runnig dry shot , , so thats killing me there. . but im going wet like yours, i got the stuff on mon .
anyway im getting a vafc tom and getting some cam gears to get this thing tuned right.
i sw jo jo callos old chief tech and he gave some pointers on the fuel and timing. , , so im gonna try again . he said the timing was too much advanced and stuff and to back off it a little and tune the fuel more.
