Default Just moved out to Dallas...anyone on the board in the area

Just moved out here a couple of weeks ago, and have not seen any fellow ITR's... hardly any imports for that matter. I was talking to some one with a yellow ITR a couple of weeks ago from this area but lost contact with him.

Give me some info on the best bar to watch the Superbowl at

You should come out to Ennis this weekend(Feb. 2) There should be quite a few imports and domestics out there from the Dallas area.

The Texas Motorplex is in Ennis, TX which is about 45min or so from Dallas. There are several ways to get there. I usually go south on I-35. There are more complete directions at www.texasmotorplex.com. If you want, you can just follow me on the way there.

Where did you move from? I lived in Plano for a while, but I live in the Mid-Cities now. There will be alot of imports heading to Ennis from what I understand. I have seen a couple of R's out there.

Check out CSi ... they have a texas board with an Ennis Roll Call somewhere.

What time on Saturday...I am not sure if I can go, because they are installing Direct TV in my house that day and they told me anytime between 10AM-4PM...you know how that is... and I am still not done with the whole moving thing which I hate to do.

I moved from NJ...hahaha....I love Dallas weather....sheesh middle of January and it is mid 60's and even 70's degrees outside.

Thanks for the 411 about the local thieves...but my ITR is black, so wasn't me, and I still have out of state plates, and no plate in the front, so if you see me around you will know.

I think the track is open from 9-5 or so. There will be another test and tune in two weeks(Feb. 16). I am sure there will be alot of imports then too if you can't make it this weekend.

I haven't replaced anything....just added some extra parts. What did you see that was wrong with the turbo set-up?

I added coilovers, J&S, ignition, some other minor things. I know she had problems with it at first but it seemed to run pretty well when I bought it. I think Jotech had some kind of problem with the ecu that they couldn't figure out and it didn't run well then. So they replaced the ecu with an XS engineering GSR ecu and it ran better. And yes it has a thicker HKS headgasket that Jotech sells to everyone. I believe it lowers compression to about 9.5:1. Last time I ran at Ennis I was running 8 psi and ran a 13.6@104 with a crappy 2.35 60'. I'm gonna try to run a little more on sat. and see what I can get.
