How to remove wall paint off car?
Okay here is the story, my mom was painting a part of the exterior of my house and my car was there. And now there are tons of spots of white paint on my right side of my car and i need to know how to remove it w/o messing up my black car paint. I tried scrubbing it off but now my car has a **** load of scratches from scrubbing to hard. Anyone have any good ways to remove the house paint?
I would try rubbing alcohol i.e isopropyl. I think turpentine which usualy removes paint from brushes would be too strong for the car paint, so stay away from that. try rubbing alcohol on a spot like the bottom of the front bumper, just to double check that none of the paint is coming off.
Use a clean cloth to prevent scratches.
Hope it works.

What kind of paint? It's not easy to find oil-based exterior paint any more (VOC laws...) so probably it's latex based. Hardware stores sell stuff to remove it. Probably have to wax your car after doing that...
most exterior house paints are latex based, and latex paint is water-based. this stuff should come off pretty easy with any paint remover products they seel at hardware stores. but like bionic says, try testing the product in an inconspicuous area first. gl
eww not fun, when i first saw the title i thought someone had vandalized your car
yeah latex ought to be easier than oil based to work with

pour a bit of gasoline on a rag and rub the paint off, works like a charm.
I have done this before, I had to park my Jeep in the tighest spot at our old house, always ended up hitting the damn pillar

here at our shop we use a chemical called acrysol. It works really well to remove pretty much anything, and is not harsh enough to damage paint or interior parts
haha thx for your advice guys. Rubbing alcohol took it all off already. Just alot of manuel labor to scrub all those dang specs.
