PasswordJDM or Memoryfab Intake?
they're both knock off's but the password jdm intake seems to be better quality however you will make more power through the powerband with an aem... dynotested proof in the all motor forum.
i've got the passwordjdm one and the quality is great. i can honestly say i found more torque compared to my injen cold air. i really don't think i could ask for better. here's a few pics.

Let's just say there are more people with the JDMpassword J's copy then Memoryfab's copy.
But you simply cant go wrong with ever you chose, they are both knockoff!!

with all the r&d j's racing has put in to their intakes i would rather spend the cash there. damn, saving a few dollars here and there just because a company knocked the intake chamber and called it their own doesnt make it better than the original.
for companies that use the JDM monicker to sell their own TAIWANESE products.

The backyard R&D was actually done by Hideo Tamitaka, in the US, over 10 years ago.
Top Fuel took the idea, and did actual power testing on the design, which was later copied by J's Racing.
Dimensionally, the Password and Memory Fab intakes are identical to the J's, so the power should equal about the same. The main difference is going to be with the actual filter itself.

but none of the knockoffs is using a quality filter like K&N, right?

Buy the knock off then buy a k&n filter and slap it on. Problem solved and you're still saving money.
