Default max compression ratio on b16a2 std sleaves?+ other stuff

hey guys i have a few questions :D

i just recived my b16a2 engine with 52 thou on the clock (to start my build on- i already have a b16a2 in the delsol)

what is the maximum compression ratio i can run on stock 81mm sleeves? and yes i will be boring out an additional 0.5mm and getting new 81.5mm pistons to match (i dont want piston slap smashing my engie to bits a few miles down the road)

any reccomendation for the compression ratio i can run on 98 ron gas? thats the best we have here in the uk - its been suggested i shouldnt go over 11.1(or 11.5.1) compression ratio without a better octane fuel.

leading on from that what cams are going to give me good power at high revs with that compression ratio? (ie: will skunk 3`s? jun 3`s)

for the block i intend on fitting a set of high compression forged pistons and rods and having my crank knife edged and balanced up. any reccomendations on what rod/piston combo work well together to give me the compression ratio i need?
(i dont really want to get the cylinders head skimmed to lower the c/r as i dont want it to affect the cam timing over what the can gears say etc)

any ideas to get me started will be greatly appriciated- im just trying to get an idea of what i can do before i start blowing all my cash on theis engine :D

cheers

are you able to find a GSR block or LS block? it would be better to start off with a 1.8 block at least.

i looked into starting with an 1800 cc engine(b18c4) but i got the b16 engine for such a good deal i want to mod that. plus i want to see how far i can take a b16 hp wise without sleeving it to a larger dia .

cheers

you can put a larger crank and get modded pistons to create more displacement

i know. but it alters the rod/stroke ratio.

thanks for the info but i really need to know the awnsers to my original question(s)

i havent ruled anything out atm as all i have is just the b16a2 engine. i might fit a b18 crank and custom pistons but i want to look into every option i have first rarther than just rush in :D

cheers

i would stick it in the mid 11's...

you dont need super high compression in these motors to make power
