Default greddy turbo kit users?

just did a search and found numerous threads about greddy turbo kit users and ive read them all i just placed on order for mine. just wondering if anybody is using the 15g kit on stock d16z6 w/o intercooler? if so, are you dissapointed/ impressed with the power it gives out of the box? what little things can i do to increase power saftley w/o buying an intercooler? as much as i would love to purchase a IC, i cant. to much theives in bk and i rather not have them think my car is turbo by looking at it. thanks in advance

paint the intercooler flat black... people will just think its a normal radiator.

Get a sidemounted intercooler. Youll be ok running without one if your running 5psi. 6psi and up you should really look into getting an intercooler becasue your engine will hate the heat from your turbo and wont run to the full potention. You could also paint the intercooler black.

get a side mount intercooler from a older turbo car. its small but will work for your aplication.

The late 80's mistu Conquest/Starion have intercoolers that are small yet thick to disipate good heat. You could rig up one of those or something.
Also the flat black is great, they wont know the difference

get one shaped more like a radiator and hang it where the AC cooler goes.

just paint the intercooler black and run it without a blowoff valve and no one will ever know you have a turbo

get a side mount instead and if u do get a front mount don't paint it black other wise your intercooler retains heat moreif you want put a mesh grill (little rice but more safe)and paint that black you still can't see the ic and it stays cooler

i'd paint the fmic black, and be carefull where i blew off at. only a *** clown would run without a bov! compressor surge would own you!

Route the BOV back into the intake so it's way less audible. I think I said that right.
