i have a b16a1 converted to obd1 w/ jkobd harness, necessary dizzy and a bosch universal 4-wire o2 sensor.

im getting 9 short flashes and a solid CEL after that. anyone heard of this before?

 

Was the dizzy used?

 

i was told its from a b16..and its obd1 so i assume its from a del sol b16 or a SiRII jdm b16

oh and im using the RyWire conversion dizzy harnesses too

 

bump...im having exact same problem with my obd1 swap.

 

was all the wiring stock prior to converting. make sure the stock harness is back to its original form, meaning NO loose wires

 

i got rid of the code 9 and was left with a solid CEL no blinks..so i swapped to a virgin p28 and CEL is gone...switch back to my custom ecu and CEL is back.

so it was the ecu for sure. i need to talk to the guy i got the ecu from

 

I have the same problem and I think my ECU is bad as well
