Default valve lash adjustament

i need to do a valve lash adjustament on my 92 accord. i looked at instructions on how to do it and they tell me to align it with the lip of the head or timing belt cover on the engine. well the 2 on my car have about 1/8 of an inch difference, and i am trying to figure out which one it is. btw the car is a 92 accord lx

there is a plug or if it is missing a hole on left side of engine if you are looking at it from frt of car. where the transm and engine come together, that's where you can see where top dead center is ..rotate crank till you align the nipple with white mark ..now it is either # 1 or # 4 feel 1 or 4 rocker arms whichever are all loose it is the cylinder you are in ,,now there is a slight groove on cam it should be aligned with head , there is also a little square cut on upper t-belt cover u can see it on the inside it is 90 degree angle with head , after you adjust the first cylinder rotate crank when the little groove on cam pilley aligns with square cut on upper cover you are either # 2 or # cylinder depends which way u rotate the engine ,,valve lash clearance specs should be in the hood sticler int 9-11 exh 11-13 so do them at 10 and 12 ,,,,,010 .012
