V TEC ISSUES ..PLEASE HELP!!!!
Ok guys heres my set up, i have a 94 coupe with a b16 with a greedy 18g turbo setup on it. i have a FMU { vortec} and a VAFC . Also i have the missing link and a set of 310 injecters along wiht a walboro 255 fuel pump. I know the best way to go is hondata but i am not trying to make serious power i am just planiing to chill at 10 lbs. i am planing to go ahead and get it tuend on the dyno but i have issues wiht my V tec. Ever since i had the engine in the V tech has not been working witch is about 2 months now, i fully re-built the engine. I tryed everything i tripple cheked the wiring on my VAFC the only thing i am not sure about it is the orange wire i dont think i need to use that , however even when u set the vafc to ***** which is suppose to be stock setting nuthing happens, i unplugged the sensor and there was No check engine light. I am runnign a P28{ yes i know it needs to be chipped to run great} ne ways i got frustreated and thought mabe i did something wrong in the head , so i i hooked the solonoid up to a switch to check it , warmed up the car took it to 5500 hit the switch and it switched over , so i know it is mechically sound. it has to be a wiring problem. i know the ecu is good cuz i put it in my friends car and it works fine? so i am out of ideas can yall please help? mabe its a setting i am not setting right? and i need the vtec to work to tune it cuz on the throttle point settings the seetings switch form low cam lobe to high? please please help me figre this out!!!
