d16y8 head into d16z6 short block

You guys know that the d16y8 is OBO-ll and d16z6 is OBO-l. So since I'm putting that OBO-ll head into my OBO-l bottom block. Do I need to do any specail conversion to the head before putting the head in?

may i ask why you're putting on a Y8 head instead of a Z6 head? a Z6 head flows much better than a Y8 head.

okies... what about y8's intake manifold? Is that better then z6 manifold, because it looks bigger

Yes it is. The y8 intake manifold is the ultimate D series intake manifold. OEM at least.
