skunk2 Pro1+ on stock jdm b16a sir2?
i was thinking off getting these cams on my sock motor, but the motor will have every possible bolt on. i/h/e intake mani, test pipe, 2.5" exhaust, hondata s200 tuned. and what ever else i need.
They would bog extremely bad. They don't have allot of duration, but 12.6 lift......thats huge. Stick with a type r cam for now, you will get much better performance with your motor as it is right now.
i was thinkin since they compared them to the bc3+ that it would run good in my set up since they are simular...thanx.
we have tested these cams in a 1.8ltr that was 11.5:1 compression and they worked great. as far as a stock b16a im not sure one way to find out.. if you are serious about getting some cams pm donf on the board and ask him his opinion and he should be able to sell you a set of pro1's.
on other notes i have seen crower stage 2's (402's) work great on a stock b16a..
i say plan ahead... if you are planning on doing more later why spend the money on smaller cams that will be no use later. figure out where you plan to go with your swap and set your sites on what will work with your final setup..

no a friend has them on his itr with portflows springs and retainers and idle is crazy,sounds like a race car idle jumps up and down because of the lobes, but he got 26 whp after tuning
you can make these idle fine if you have the know how. as i have seen these idle just fine a 1.8ltr. this was on dta engine manig. they do have lumpier idle than most cams but with proper setup they will idle fine

i have managed to idle these well at 1000 rpms with itbs, so it definitely can be done. but yeah they are lumpy and lopy randomly, they definitely have to be tamed!
