Cam/Valve Clearance Experience On CRVTEC High Compression
Just floating the question as to people's experience with valve clearance on high compression CRVTEC motors.
With aftermarket high compression pistons, this would tend to be an issue. When I ordered my Arias for 12.0:1 I asked them to cut enough relief for valve clearance on my motor with ITR cams in a b16a1 milled .030 head but can imagine that more clearance would be needed for running Toda B's for example........

http://www.crvtec.com don't think that it will have answers however, you can look into it.
First off you shoul get the motor clay tested to check for any piston to valve clearance issues. second if you tell them the lift of your cams (2001itr/ctr in lift 11.5 ex lift10.5) and that you have a milled head it should run fine.
First lock ur VTEC rocker in place then clay ur motor and find the maximum amount of cam advance and retard.
Well, both together natch....I will try and clay mine just to make sure - that is correct thing to do.
I think that many of the claims of Comp ratios that we are told (up to 14:1) leaves me pretty suspicious....
