Default smoke off breather on the valve cover.

Can anyone help me with this one problem?has this ever happened to anyone else,cuz this happend to me twice allready on two different motor(b16 and recently my b20).It seems like my motor is not pulling as hard as it used to when it wasn't smoking .thanks for any advise.

Mine does this too, but only really "visibly" at idle. I only have a hose attached open atmosphere, no little filter. I also get what appears to be water / unburnt fuel coming out as well (I like to tell myself that the "smoke" is actually steam....). I suppose if the PCV is clogged or not functioning properly the gasses will have to escape through the valve cover? Or, as suggested, you could have a wicked case of blow by. Hopefully not the latter, good luck.

sounds like your rings or ringlands are scrwed up.

most likely ringlands....the weakest part of the stock piston. Does it smoke more at idle, because if it does then you prolly have broken ringlands

my buddy's teg did that and when they ripped it apart, its exactly what this guy said. ringlands.

Ringlands...mine too. Cylinder number 4. Check your compression.
