What name brand ? And how good does it cut ?

I bought that mini-chop saw thingy thinking it would be good to do -AN hose cutting with.

**** was I wrong.

It can at best cut fingernails and stuff, one weak motherfugger.

I got mine at HF for $50. The thing went through hell and back. I made 3 ramhorn manifold with it, with collectors and everything. It works flawless.

i hate chop saws.

i was ]this[ close to posting a "I lost my ******' eye" thread because of a chop saw. Can't clamp el's down veyr well at all.

those things use a sewing machine motor... so far, that's like the cheapest i've found the motor for my sewing machine, lol

yeh that second one posted... lol, ive used it. Burnt through two belts, that **** is alright i guess. I used the toothed saw, do they make cof off discs instead of the toothed blade?

Arent those blades just as much as the machine itself?

I've used my HF 50 chopsaw and cut through cast and made a tons load of **** and still on the same 14" disc. I hardly ever use my angle grinder anymore.

Word! When I brought my metal band saw home, I hastily put away my chop saw. I took it back out after about 10 minutes. It's so handly for a quick chop job.

ya i have to say for a chop saw just hit up harbor frieght, 2hp 14" saw for 50 bucks.....ive had mine for a year with no problems.....just dont be a jackass and try and cuz 3inch steel in 30 sec if you know what i mean

well id say there about as accurate as a disk spinning can be.....not to be a smart ***, but i think it would only walk if you went too fast if you know what i mean

I don't think a lot of people have a problem with the chop saw walking, its the cheap band saw that walks.

man. you are going to have to change disks out all the time. just spend some money on a chop saw.

i got some LMC chop saw from LOWES for less then $100.
