Default GM Synchromesh makign trans leak?

ever since I put in GM syncromesh in my 90 Civic's trans it seems to drip whenever I take a drive. I thought my oil pan was leaking but today I touched one of the drips with my finger and it didnt feel like my normal castrol I put in the engine, possibley the synchromesh. Is this possible? Could the synchromesh be to thin that for some reason its leaking out on my trans? I used to use 10w 30 for trans fluid. I also jacked my car up and it was wet around the trans/oil pan area

Intresting...i never heard anything like this before, you should inspect your motor/Tranny for any leaks...

Could be the Synchromesh...

Strangely enough the GM Synchromesh is harmful to some of the older trannies that were bolted up to LS1's (Corvette/F-Body). It seems to deteriote the paper linings on the blocker rings. The newer trannies have carbon fiber blocker rings, and don't suffer from this.

Did you happen to check the drain bolt? Maybe you didn't tighten it enough. Also check your axles to see if it's leaking from the axle seals.

No problems at drain bolt/oil filter, I will need to double check the axel though.

I might be trying the Honda MTF to see if I still have a leak.
